Birk's Restaurant

This was my first time here despite the fact that I have lived in Santa Clara for many years.  There was eight of us and I didn't hear any complaints from anyone.  I started with a  strawberry daiquiri (I am not much of a drinker.  But it was good.  I had the dinner special with the Cesar Salad which I thought was really good.  .  I enjoyed the large lettuce and the dressing was really good.  The only mistake with our starters is that one of my friends ordered the bean soup and they brought him clam chowder.  However, once we pointed out the error the waiter corrected the issue quickly.  I ordered the rib-eye which came with creamed spinach and mash potatoes which I loved!  For dessert I had the chocolate expresso cake which was mouth watering!  My dinner with my drink was $60.00.  Pricy but I thought worth it as I had a great time.
