If you want to celebrate the fall harvest in style while supporting local, sustainable farming, the Fall Harvest Feast is the place to be on September 29th from five to eight p.m. Tickets for the festival are tax-deductible, and the proceeds go toward Full Circle Farm’s outreach programs to educate the community and sustain a thriving cycle of local food sourcing. Below are some of the highlights of what you can expect to enjoy at this year’s Fall Harvest Feast.
Reception and Dinner: With Culinary Sponsor Chef Maurice Dissels of Birk’s Restaurant leading the culinary design of the festival, you can look forward to a delicious assortment of gourmet foods and cocktails for anyone to enjoy. The food will showcase ingredients sourced from local farms that use sustainable, renewable practices that support the community.
Blue Moonlit Tour: See the 11-acre urban farm area lit by the blue moon so you can get connected to the food sources in your neighborhood. The tour will allow you to explore the entire festival and see where the proceeds from the exciting event are going.
Silent & Live Auctions: Make bids on a wide range of items and packages from local businesses all evening long during the silent auction and enjoy even more excitement during the event’s live auction. Your auction purchases will only further benefit the Full Circle Farm, so you can feel good about bidding.
Farm Games: For fun that attendees of all ages can enjoy, participate in some farm games held throughout the evening. These games are just the thing to help you work up an appetite to savor the array of foods from excellent area chefs.
